Routes and Crowds

Kilimanjaro has several well-established routes, such as the Machame, Marangu, Lemosho, and Rongai routes, each with its own characteristics and varying degrees of difficulty. These routes attract a significant number of hikers, and during the peak season, you can encounter crowds. Mount Kenya has fewer routes, with the most popular being the Naro Moru, Sirimon, and Chogoria routes. While these routes may still have hikers, they generally see fewer crowds compared to Kilimanjaro.
